Kurdo Araz holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Medical Sciences Honours Specialization from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University in Canada. He is currently in his third year of the Graduate Entry Medicine programme at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Through the PRiCAN group, his research focuses on improving early cancer detection in primary care. Projects include a scoping review on transactional data, an AI-powered digital scribe study funded by the Breakthrough Cancer Research Studentship, and a systematic review on improving awareness of testicular cancer. He hopes to integrate early diagnostic principles in his future clinical practice.
